1 bed "Annexe" + WC, shower, washbasin & summer kitchen

3 bed "Main house" groundfloor, kitchen, livingroom roll top bath 2 WC's 2 showers

5 bed using 2 in the "Grenier/loft" + additional shower/wc & 3 in the "main house" (as above)

6 bed using the main house, grenier & annexe providing 4 showers, bath and 4 wc's.

All rooms have Double beds & can accomodate 4 people but are listed for 2. We can arrange laundry, extra cleaning & babysitting at market rates & B&B for those who need to arrive before a Saturday start day (or stay over) to take advantage of lower ferry rates during the week.

Spacious rooms of approx 25m sq - high beamed ceilings & natural light in every bedroom. The house is non-smoking for health & safety reasons (lots of exposed timber & smoke alarms fitted throughout). Local bread & a butcher pass daily - if you can catch the van.

Clean, simple room layouts incorporate local materials & range from 5 x 4m up to 6 x 5m. Either tiled or carpetted with individual lighting, power points & radiators on the ground floor.

Each room has easy access to one of the 4 showers or toilets plus space for additional beds. The beautiful "Grenier" rooms are enchanting, but watch out for the oak beams which have been known to collide with foreheads

Inside the old house many of the original features have been retained such as the wooden shutters ,traditional french windows,charentaise fireplaces & the traditional stonewall construction.

As a private house we are not advertised on sites such as Chez Nous, French Country Cottages, Cottages4you, Rentalsfrance or French Entree, France Direct, Holiday Lettings , French Connections or Holiday Rentals - so please feel free to approach us directly for further details of our home in France .
